Manny Caixeiro will be moderating a conversation with prominent in-house counsel and leading foreign attorneys regarding patent damages and remedies. As such, the panel will discuss such topics as comparing the types of remedies available in the United States and other jurisdictions; emerging law relating to FRAND licensing and standard-essential patents; the role of efforts to increase the availability of injunctions; tips for presenting a successful damages case to a judge and jury; considerations relating to pre- and post-judgment interest and enforcement; and how to effectively incorporate all of these concepts into legal strategies.
